Voice for Wellbeing Weekly Zooms
This online weekly 45 mins Zoom class is open to beginners and seasoned healing voice users alike. Join this class for setting positive intentions through a practice of vocal toning, chant and mantra. No vocal experience necessary, just a desire to sound through meditation. Voice Meditation and Mantra
Every Monday 12.45pm-1.45pm beginning 3rd February 2025 at the Green Door Centre, Main Road, Bosham, PO18 8PJ £10 Pay as you go on the day (cash or card payment accepted) Come along on the 3rd February for a free taster session! No need to register, just turn up. If the class is not running it will be posted here. Join Alexandra for this informal class offering some Monday lunchtime relaxation and an opportunity to clear your mind, set intentions for the week with a practice of gentle breath work, vocal toning (no experience necessary) and mantra practice. Vocal toning is simple humming or vowel sounding on the exhalation, it's not about singing! Research is beginning to show that vocal toning can assist with entering into a meditative state more easily, deepen breath, slow the heart rate and improve a sense of wellbeing and relaxation. Followed by a short and accessible mantra practice, this session will encourage you to clear your mind, focus on gentle sounding and begin to access your inner realm for clarity and self-guidance, as well as leaving you refreshed and ready for the week ahead.
