College of Sound Healing Practitioner Training with the Voice (CoSH)®
ONLINE
Today, we are beginning to rediscover just how important sound and music are for us. Modern science now supports the ancient belief that all matter comes from vibration or sound. Physicists have found that the physical world is made up of vibrating energy.
The College of Sound Healing, founded by Healer and Acupuncturist Simon Heather,
provides a comprehensive and accredited training in Sound Healing and Sound Therapy with highly experienced tutors.
The College is a non-profit making organisation.
The College is a member of the Therapeutic Sound Association, the Complementary Medical Association and the IICT.
Our highly successful Sound Healing Practitioner Training course has been running since 1998.
For more info see:
www.collegeofsoundhealing.co.uk
Alexandra has been a tutor for the College of Sound Healing since 2014.
In addition to her workshops she offers the core (using the Voice and Tuning Forks) Practitioner Training
as part of her teaching practice and runs several workshops to accompany this.
Alexandra has experienced the many benefits of understanding Sound and Energy in her voice work, but also in her life as a whole, and encourages people to explore this ancient form of healing to reconnect and understand themselves in this busy world.
Sound, resonance, vibration, whatever we want to call it, has been used for centuries to cure and restore wellbeing.
It has been used most recently by the NHS to treat kidney stones using Lithotripsy, to hear babies in the womb using Ultrasound, and to treat prostate cancer using HIFU (Hi Intensity Focused Ultrasound).
Sound is Sound whether it comes from a medical machine or a musician's tuning fork and can be used to both heal and harm.
Understanding Sound and Resonance is the future for the wellbeing of humanity and the planet...beginning with the sonic tool we all have in common...THE VOICE!
This should not be confused with singing, musicianship or the western competitive nature of performance.
Everyone can Voice, Everyone can Sound, Everyone can Heal!
During the pandemic, not knowing how long we would be affected by restrictions and lockdowns, the College of Sound Healing worked to adapt the Sound Healing with the Voice Practitioner Training developed by Simon Heather, so that it could be taught online. In doing so, the college has managed to reach many students internationally that would never have been able to complete the training in person.
The online training maintains its usual five weekend format, where teaching of the curriculum is done as a group. Treatments that are taught at each part are also demonstrated during the training weekends, and practice exercises are undertaken together online. There is an emphasis on delivering distant treatments due to the nature of working online, however, case studies both in person and online treatments will be required.
The training weekends will be facilitated using the Zoom online platform, and you will receive a link for each training weekend in advance.
Working on Zoom allows us to hear and see each other and work together as a group. Please see below for the electronic requirements and things to be considered when working online.
Students will have the option of receiving their course manual either by post or PDF. Course handouts will be delivered online via email and are available in the CoSH student portal on this website.
Participants are encouraged to do the case studies and assignments in line with the training weekends, however, we understand that life can get in the way, therefore course work will be accepted up to two years from the start date of the training.

A recent review for Alexandra's ONLINE Sound Healing with the Voice Practitioner Training....
Online was surprisingly good- I think I would preferred to do it online if I was asked again!
It works- I felt that we were all working as one and our vibrations were passing through without any hindrance.
In fact, I think it opens more space to practise the intention.
I must say that Alexandra was amazing. She has used every minute of the day during the study weekends – something that is not possible if we were in class. I was also pleasantly surprised how grounded Alexandra was in her teaching. I initially expected a lot of lecturing on sound but was amazed how practical the course was and how effortlessly Alexandra led us through the whole experience. As a novice, I didn’t feel out of place thanks to Alexandra’s careful guidance and pairing me with my wonderful course pals. I benefitted from their wisdom too, and am very grateful to them.
It was amazing to be with such wonderful people. Everyone was different and it enriched the course immensely.
