Alexandra loves to teach people to sing! She runs her own private teaching practice, and is a Visiting Singing Teacher for Downe House School in Berkshire. Alexandra's former teaching positions to date have also included the London Studio Centre, Berkshire Maestros and Esher College in Surrey.
Alexandra also works as a voice coach for various corporations and law firms in London, helping employees to use their voices more effectively for public speaking and enhanced performance in the work place. For Healing and Authentic Voice please click here.
Alexandra teaches teenagers from age 15, to adults of all ages, both beginners and amateurs, as well as professional actors and singers, everything from opera and classical music to pop and jazz! She particularly likes teaching people that say they can't sing, whether this is a self belief, or a something they have been told their whole life!
Alexandra's primary focus is always on building a strong technique, and an understanding of how the voice actually works both mechanically and psychologically. Where required, she has a good knowledge of the Estill Voice Model, having completed Levels 1-4 and a year of EMT training.
You will learn to control your breathing and understand the effects of breath on the voice, discover and make flexible the muscles that affect your diaphragm, produce your own unique sound and develop your range and vocal flexibility, for whatever genre you wish to sing.
Alexandra teaches singing and vocal production without judgement! She can help you unlock and find your voice, free tension and let go.
Whether you require a technical singing lesson, a singing lesson for fun, look no further.
Learning to sing, is the art of allowing your body to do what it knows naturally.
Where required, Alexandra teaches the ABRSM and Trinity Singing Syllabus.
Alexandra has over 20 years professional experience, performing and teaching singing all over the world. She studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, where she received her Bachelor of Music Honours Degree, Masters in Music Performance Degree and Opera Course training.
